A specific wine from a particular winery will exhibit some differences in quality and characteristics from one year to another. Wines chosen for most Introductory and Intermediate challenges are selected, in part, because they tend to be consistent in quality and characteristics from year-to-year.

For example, a Beringer Napa Valley Chardonnay from any recent vintage should work well in any challenge featuring that wine. A few Advanced level and other special challenges may be shown with vintage years in those cases in which we believe it is important to the game experience.
