Suggestions For Choosing WHICH WINE IS THIS?™ Poster Challenges

Parstone offers a variety of WHICH WINE IS THIS?™ Poster Challenges to meet the interests and preferences of wine enthusiasts. We intend to frequently add more challenges to the available list. Please share your interests with us so we may consider them when creating new posters.

There are three primary considerations when choosing a WHICH WINE IS THIS?™ Poster Challenge:

  1. Type of wine
  2. Skill level of participants
  3. Poster image/design

Type of Wine
If you or the person for whom you are purchasing a gift has a preference for red or white wines, by all means use that as a starting point. Posters such as WP50107 – Red Wines Around The World or WP50207 – White Wines Around The World are excellent choices. Some people have a favorite grape such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon or Zinfandel for which we offer a specific Poster Challenge.

Skill Level
WHICH WINE IS THIS?™ Poster Challenges will be available in three skill levels: Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced.

Casual wine drinkers, as well as many experienced wine enthusiasts, will find it challenging to distinguish between varying types or varietals of red or white wines from around the world. Introductory level challenges are a great starting point.

As their knowledge increases, players will be ready for Intermediate level challenges featuring various types of wines from a single country or region (such as various red wines from Australia, Italy or Napa Valley). Other Intermediate level challenges feature wines from a single grape produced in various regions of the world (such as Cabernet Sauvignon wines from the United States, France, Australia, Chile and other countries).

Finally, Advanced level challenges contain wines from a single grape or a specific type from a single geographic area (such as Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley or Chianti Classico from Tuscany).

Regardless of their tasting skill level and wine knowledge, even the most experienced wine enthusiasts will likely find the Introductory level Poster Challenges a great starting point for enjoying WHICH WINE IS THIS?™.
